Welcome to Travel Baseball Guy!

Straight talk, expert insights, and a community that gets it

If you’re here, chances are you’ve got questions. Maybe you’re a parent trying to figure out what travel baseball is really like, a coach looking for ways to help your team succeed, or a player trying to map out the best path forward.

We’ve been there. And we realized something: there just aren’t enough real, no-nonsense resources to help parents, players, and coaches navigate this world.

We’d be at games, talking to other parents and coaches, and we kept hearing the same questions and frustrations. How do you know if travel ball is worth it? What’s the right team? How do you handle the costs, the schedules, the recruiting process? No one had straight answers. So, we decided it was time to change that.

That’s why we started Travel Baseball Guy—to create the resource we all wish we had.

What to Expect from Travel Baseball Guy

We’re here to bring you real, credible insights from people who’ve been there—players, coaches, scouts, and travel ball insiders who actually know what they’re talking about.

At the same time, we’re building a community where parents, coaches, and players can share their own experiences, ask questions, and help each other out.

Every week, we’ll bring you:

60/90: Our weekly newsletter packed with the best articles, tips, and insights—delivered straight to your inbox.
Expert advice from travel baseball experts who live and breathe the game.
Gear guides and equipment reviews so you know what’s worth your money.
Coaching strategies to help teams (and individual players) develop and succeed.
Tournament and travel hacks to make weekends on the road a little easier.
Inspirational stories from players, parents, and pros who’ve been in your shoes.
